Practicing yoga is a great therapy method for many injuries. Please make sure you’re your doctor has cleared you for practicing Yoga.Every time you take a class with a new teacher, greet them before class starts and alert them to your injuries. During class they will likely offer modifications for you if they think the upcoming pose may be strenuous on your injury. If a pose is causing pain, ease out of it and take a pause in child’s pose or any position that feels comfortable.

We offer a variety of yoga styles at Seventh Chakra Yoga. Our Vinyasa & Hatha yoga mainly focus on body and breath through sequenced postures. Our Vin & Restorative yoga consist of slower postures held for 1-3 mins to aid your body in opening and releasing. Our Breath, Sound & Nidra classes focus on meditative sound and breath. And our Kundalini yoga is a combination of postures, breath, sound & meditation, and is based on the movement of energy and quieting of your mind/body.

Take advantage of our 2 weeks unlimited yoga for $25 offer and trying out a few different classes and teachers, so you can experience what suited to your needs.

At Seventh Chakra Yoga we do not differentiate between easy and difficult levels in classes. All classes vary by energetic quality of the practice. The emphasis of Yoga is neither on perfection, nor comparison with fellow practitioners. Each one of us has a unique built that varies from day to day. Learning to honor this uniqueness will teach you how to listen to your body and modify your practice based on your current state, under the guidance of our Teachers. Slowly you will begin to develop strength and stamina. In doing so, “advanced” practitioners maintain the “beginner’s mind” and “beginners” are invited to explore their energetic edges at their own pace. All movements are accessible to all students, and your teachers will offer suggestions throughout to ensure all are able to participate. Those with injuries might experience deep levels of healing. Those with limitations will be in a compassionate space to move through them.
